AUTOMOBILE RECALLS
An auto recall occurs when a manufacturer and/or Transport Canada determines that a car model (or several models) has a safety-related defect or does not comply with a federal safety standards. When this happens, the automaker will alert owners to the problem and usually offer a free repair.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY VEHICLE HAS A RECALL?
You should be notified about the defects in your car via Canada Post or electronically. In most recalls, the owner is instructed to contact a dealer and to bring their vehicle in for a recall service. This is why it is important that your information is up to date with the manufacturer and Leggat Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC.

WHAT STEPS SHOULD I TAKE?

Make sure to state your name, email address, phone number (optional), vehicle model, year and vin number.
